We were thrilled to welcome Digbeth Dining Club for the first of two summer visits here at the Gardens on Sunday, June 8th! The event is full of delicious street food, lively music, and a simultaneously relaxed and fun picnic atmosphere! Don’t worry if you missed it – Digbeth Dining Club will be back on Sunday, August 10th for another round of food and fun. Stay tuned and check our website’s events page for more information! Here are what some of our vendors had to say in the midst of selling their delicious treats to the guests:
Sometimes people forget just how important street food can be in an atmosphere, and Hawker Dan is here to prove just how valuable it can be. With a specialty in Singaporean, Thai, and Malaysian style street food, the 2021 MasterChef: The Professionals 2021 Champion, Dan Lee, has brought fun and tasty flavours over to the bright and beautiful Gardens.
Although the planes passing over the Gardens can disturb the atmosphere for some, the staff at Filthy Burgers love watching aeroplanes pass over! To them, it adds to the lively ambience and turns your direction towards the sky and nature, reminding you to take in that beautiful view all while you eat. Grab their fan-favourite Three Little Pigs dish with a beef patty, streaky bacon, pork scratchings, and black pudding while you watch the planes soar above you!
This the first time Frozen Sombrero attended these Gardens, but they’re convinced they’ll be back to serve for future events! They love the vibe here, going as far as to say their cocktails are basically like “serving happiness” to the already energetic customers. On a refreshing summer day, the Strawberry Daiquiri is their most popular item!
Cocktails have participated in many other Digbeth Dining Club experiences, and how could they not, especially with the Gardens boasting beautiful scenery as well as plenty of space for a fun celebration! Enjoy one of their Piña coladas during the next event.
Although Urban Cheesecake have previously participated in Digbeth Dining Club, they’ve never attended at Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens before. It goes without saying, but they were taken aback by the beauty of this location, and they believe that their Strawberry Solero perfectly matches the enchanting and refreshing vibe of the Gardens.
Aren’t events like these always enjoyed more with others? How about a meal from Fried Chicken Po-Boys, who truly live up to their name and serve some of the tastiest fried chicken around. With a shared platter and some halloumi fries, groups of friends and family are guaranteed to stick around for the scenery all while enjoying their meal!
Finally, here are some quotes from some attendees, who will certainly be back for more during the second round on Sunday, August 10th:
“I recently just became a member of the Gardens and I have to say, I’m not disappointed. The place is beautiful and there’s such a welcoming atmosphere here!”
“We love coming here because the scenery is so beautiful and atmospheric, and the vibes are always so positive.”
