Last year at The Melon Ground Sessions we focussed on introducing artists who had not played together before, with Vo Fletcher our wonderful host holding it all together. Much fun was had and heaps of great music was enjoyed. Credit must also go to our robins and blackbirds who seemed to just know when to join in too.
We’re just completing our line up of great artists for June, July and August but are excited to announce now that on May 26th we have the world premiere performance by ‘Dreamcatchers‘. This new group met last year at The Melon Ground Sessions where they played together for the first time and enjoyed it so much that they’ve become a band and where better for their first public outing than where they met?
String players and vocalists Vo Fletcher, Loz Kingsley and William Murphy bring some English Folk, Irish melodies and Americana to the party whilst Suzi Woods, after a decade on the high seas and performing for Royalty and Galactic Stars, brings one of the best voices in the Midlands back home.
We’re thrilled to bits at the musical treats ahead and hope you’ll join us at our unique, intimate, outdoor venue with for the first time our own bar ready to serve you with a range of wines, ciders and beers – hurrah!
