One of the most important days of your life, it deserves a unique setting.

The Gardens, steeped in history, are an exceptional location with oodles of charm providing extra enchantment for your special day.

Spanning 10 acres, Castle Bromwich Historic Gardens offers a formal historic country garden style, but without the formalities, the perfect outdoor wedding venue in which to create just the wedding celebration you want.

Our Archery Lawn (120m long) is the perfect spot for your choice of tipi, stretch tent or marquee, with the rest of the 10 acre site available for you and all your guests to enjoy and capture some incredible photographs of your special day.

Outdoor marriage license: Pick your spot.

As well as hosting wedding receptions for the past few years, both small and large, the Gardens is now also a licensed outdoor wedding venue, meaning legal wedding ceremonies can take place anywhere in the extensive grounds! Perhaps you’ll choose the circular area of the Clair Voie which gives you small amphitheatre space for you and your guests. Or maybe you’ll choose to exchange your vows among the blossoming heritage apple trees in the orchards. Alternatively – how about in the classic space of the 1720 Orangery with its dramatic view along the Holly Walk… The choice is yours!

Creating your dream day

Here at the Gardens, we don’t restrict you to a set package; so you are free to shape your wedding day exactly as you wish. Our wedding co-ordinator can guide and advise you, as little or as much as you like.

Additionally we have a fully licensed bar service and audio equipment which can be part of your booking and with our trusted contacts across wedding industry suppliers we can help with recommendations for ceremony celebrants, tipi and marquee suppliers, caterers, florists and more, if required.

We can also help with the design of your day if this is something you need some support with. Or we can leave the planning entirely up to you!

There is no overnight accommodation on site – although we love arranging camping/glamping onsite, if that’s your style – but there are a number of local hotel options on our doorstep as well as a whole host of other large and boutique accommodation options in nearby Birmingham city centre and Solihull.
