We have been closely monitoring the advice from the Government regarding COVID-19 and (for now) we will remain OPEN to the public. We understand that strict social distancing is an absolute necessity, but that being in the outdoors and fresh air has a positive benefit. We have however, made the decision to postpone all of our upcoming events and close the café.
In the meantime, we will continue to monitor any new guidance and advice issued by the UK Government and will update our website and social media accordingly. Please check before you travel.
We have extended our opening hours from 10am-4pm each day. Entry has been reduced to £3 for adults and £1 for children. We have also extended our annal membership from 12 months to 15 months FREE access to the Gardens. Any membership recently taken out or renewed will also receive 15 months access considering the current climate.
We have the option to take contactless card payments and cash will be accepted, however we are unable to give change due to hygiene reasons. Thorough cleaning will continue to take place and all visitors will be advised to maintain good standards of hygiene, hand washing, keeping 2m distance away from others whilst visiting and to stay home if they feel unwell.
Our aim is to make the Gardens a safe, touch-free area to let of steam, stroll and find peace and fresh air. You’re more than welcome to bring your own picnics and dogs on short leads are also welcome. Please take rubbish home with you.
If you would like to support us without visiting, please follow the link to donate to the Gardens. https://
Thank you for your understanding and support during these unprecedented times, we hope to still see you soon.
