This is a broad-leaved woodland made up of Oak, Silver Birch, Wild Cherry, Rowan, Holly, Sycamore, Hawthorn and Elder.
A hidden world where the squirrel runs free, the Chiff-Chaff sings its distinctive song and the Treecreeper runs up and down the tree. In Spring enjoy the Bluebells while in Autumn look for the amazing fungi growing near the deadwood.
Decide whether to take the shorter route to the left or for the more adventurous on-wards and over the boardwalk.
