Our beautiful 400 year old historic Gardens and Parkland has been saved and protected from destruction and we love to share it with people.<br /> The 40acres of formal and wildlife spaces needs constant care and attention and our small charity could not do that without the support of the many volunteers who give so generously of their time and talent.<br /> We are dependent on, and offer, over 11000 hours of voluntary work every year – do come and join in.

We welcome regular volunteers, project-based and one-off ‘working groups’ which are ideal for corporate away days and team building.<br /> We are an outdoor site but groups are welcome at most seasons. We only ask you to come dressed ready for the weather 😊<br /> While volunteer work within the 18th century walls tends to be for regular volunteering, there is always something to be done on the 10 acre Parkland, from clearing vegetation to building walkways across the wetland, planting wildflowers to mending fences ..<br /> Groups generally range from 5 -40 and we can usually adjust the tasks to fit the season, the needs and your own groups’ strengths.<br /> Training, and induction, is always given.<br /> Do get in touch to chat about good times and projects for you and the Gardens and Parkland nature reserve….
