As can be imagined, we love flowers here at the Gardens. Our historic 18th century layout tends to favour the structure of the Gardens, but we love the seasonal appearance and change of colour that the procession of flowers gives us. We’re really grateful to have, as a partner, a professional florist who can offer our visitors fabulous workshops across the year. Claire is the talented florist behind Amber Jean Flowers, she has almost 30 years of experience as a florist, working both within the flower industry and education. Claire’s floral career started in her late teens where she worked at several prestigious florists within Birmingham and Solihull before venturing into education and training in 2008. She currently use a mix of British and quality imported blooms, with her goal being to solely use British grown seasonal flowers and foliage
“My career within the Education sector gave me the opportunity to pass on my skills and knowledge to many a budding florist. The classroom was my happy place and it was this passion that inspired me to run my own workshops and classes.”
