About Birmingham Medieval Combat

We are pleased to welcome Birmingham Medieval Combat (BMC) to our walls, to lead us in a session showcasing the battle skills of men-at-arms in the Fourteenth and Fifteenth Centuries.

BMC is a full contact sports team competing in the sport of armoured MMA and Buhurt, based on foot combat tournaments during the 14-15th Century, similar to Jousts. Due to the competitive nature of our sport, exhibitions are not scripted or choreographed and represent skill at arms, fighting techniques and modern interpretation of armoured foot combat.
