The Gardens Charitable Trust loves sharing the Gardens and your interest and visit helps us keep them here for another 350 years….\n  \nCosts and booking \nNormal entry fees to the Gardens apply – PLUS we would be grateful for an extra donation for the walk – give as you feel\n\nYou can book your place here to ensure your place\, but we can also take walk-ups so please ask at the kiosk till if you decide to come on the day. Maximum group size 12.\nGarden entry fees: £6/£5 adults (Free for Pass holders) – please pay on the day.\n\nWhat to expect \nWe will meet in the courtyard of Castle Bromwich Historic Gardens before taking a gentle stroll in and around the grounds for about one hour. Please be punctual. \nSturdy footwear is advised\, we will be walking on grass and please dress according to the weather conditions. Paths can be uneven and sometimes slippery. \nThere are places to sit along the way\, and we will go at the pace of our slowest participant. \nCafé\, shop (and toilets) are available for your use both before and after the walk \n

DESCRIPTION:Conservation volunteer workshop.\nThese sessions are for members of the local community to get involved in conservation.\n\n\nWant to stay in shape? Make new friends? Improve your wellbeing? Give something back to nature?\nHere’s your answer!\n  \nWhy not join us for a free nature based volunteering session. Get moving with a variety of tasks that will give your local green space a helping hand. \nMeet new people who share a passion for being outdoors and staying active. \nSoak up the benefits that fresh air and green space have on our mental health. \nWe meet regularly to carry out seasonal conservation tasks\, with a mixture of gentle and more strenuous activities depending on your enegry levels. \nAnd don’t worry if you have never done this before\, our rangers will show you exactly what to do and explain why the work is so important. Gloves\, tools and training are provided. \nPlease arrive a few minutes early for a prompt start. \n  \nImportant. \nPlease note that these sessions are for individuals and families from the local community. \nBusiness and corporate groups please contact castlebromparklandteam@gmail.com to discuss corperate volunteer opportunities.

DESCRIPTION:Three magnets and one froggy puppet – ideal for kids!\n\n\nMagnets and Puppets\nSpring is springing! Join us in decorating and making three Nature-themed magnets\, and one frog puppet\, complete with moving arms and legs! \nOlder children welcomed ( ideal ages 5 and 10 ) with their adults. \nEach ticket enables you to make and decorate three magnets and make one frog puppet. \nChild Ticket £10 – includes ONE adult entry\n(Must be accompanied by an adult) \nAll materials supplied and instructions on the day will be relatively simple for you to work and create together\, or individually . \nThe ticket also includes general Gardens entry so go wander and explore our Heritage site. \nWith its Mud Kitchen\, Outoor Play Area and Hidden Wonders Trail there is so much to do! \nAll children must be accompanied by an adult. \nPlease note\, we take photographs at our events. If you would not like to be in them\, just let our photographer know when/if they come round. They will introduce themselves.
