Midsummer Night’s Dream – the Crescent Theatre

In Athens preparations are being made for the marriage of the Duke, Theseus, and Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons. Meanwhile, in a nearby enchanted forest, the feud between the Fairy King and Queen reaches a new crisis. Into their realm are drawn four young Athenian lovers and a group of amateur actors – and comic mayhem ensues.

Hugely funny and heart-warming, modern dress production of one of Shakespeare’s best loved and most enduring comedies.
What better place to see this magical Shakespeare place but in the Gardens…

“So we grew together,
Like to a double cherry, seeming parted,
But yet an union in partition,
Two lovely berries moulded on one stem.”

Some seating available. Feel free to bring your own, and a picnic. This is an outdoor production Please dress for the weather. Light refreshments available.
Tickets £10

Tickets from the Crescent theatre site  HERE , or by calling at the Gardens and on the gate.

This is one of 3 Shakespeare’s in the Gardens this Summer … buy a tickets for all 3 at £10 each (present your purchased tickets at the kiosk to get the difference refunded)
