SUMMARY:Summer Fundraising Quiz
DESCRIPTION:Test your knowledge on all things from Kate Bush to Harris Tweed while helping us raise funds for the Gardens. \nOur Quizmaster has assured that it will be shorter and easier than the Christmas quiz\, so if that’s not a reason to come\, what else is there? \nThe event will be under our Stretch Tent on the Archery Lawn and all chairs and tables will be provided. \n\nWe ask you to reserve your place for free here (limited places available\, 1 place = 1 person\, max 6 can be reserved))\nQuiz Entry Donation (min. £2) will be collected on the door .\n‘Teams’ limited to max 6 people.\nNB this is an adult event.\n\nOur wonderful volunteers will be running our cafe and bar so you can expect our usual compliment of hot and cold drinks\, refreshing Pimm’s and of course our homemade cakes! \nThis is a fun event and will directly help raise funds to support the continuing work of Castle Bromwich Historic Gardens and Parkland (charity no. 516855). \nNB: We will take photos at this event\, so please let us know on the night if you don’t want to be in any.

SUMMARY:Yoga for Midsummer
DESCRIPTION:Two immersive 90 minute open air yoga experiences to honour and celebrate the summer solstice\, with the backdrop of the tranquil gardens surrounding you.\n \nYogi Claire will lead you in this unique yoga class is suitable for all levels\, with a focus on relaxation and mindfulness.  \nGentle\, flowing sequences and restorative Yin yoga postures will be fused together\, along with meditation\, breath work\, poetry\, seasonal anecdotes and guided relaxation to help you feel balanced\, grounded and rejuvenated. \nWhere exactly in the Gardens we practice is weather dependent. If it is warm and sunny we can practice amongst the trees and flowers.
