Brand new to the Gardens!
Japanese Food and Crafts.
A summer day in the Gardens to explore something familar and maybe something new about Japanese culture.
We’re thrilled to welcome back the renowned Birmingham-based Japanese Chef, Yumi Grindley who will be producuing some of her delicious food for us from her pop-up kitchen.
She’ll be cooking a range of specialities for you to take anywhere you like; to sit with these authentic dishes under full canopies of trees and amongst buzzing orchards.
Also in the Gardens, for you to watch and try out, will be a number of crafts and activities for including traditional Japanese calligraphy, origami and, more up to date, manga drawing .
All activities are free – with normal entry fees to the Gardens. (pay on the day)
It will be a day to eat, explore and excite. All in the surround of an Eighteenth-century Gardens!
