Soul Sessions Brum returns to the Gardens for the third year in a row.
Experience an evening of live music featuring performances from some of the best kept secrets acreoss the West Midlands music scene..
Special guests ths year Jack Mac’s Funk Pack, a New Orleans inspired big band funk collective , other guests include Kezia soul, Priscilla Cameron and Collective Sleep.

What to expect:
- These historic gardens have always hosted live music and we are delighted to continue the tradition. The weekend evening atmosphere will be warm and relaxed.
- The vibe – chilling with friends. The music- always excellent.
- NB this event is entirely outdoors – Our stretch tent protects us from any rain, you cqn cuddle up with blankets if the ‘chill’ goes cold…

Jack Mac’s Funk PackJack Mac’s Funk PackThe Funk Pack is a collective of some of the strongest musicians from the Cardiff and Bristol area. From soulful melodies to grooving rhythms, the Funk Pack has it all and will get the crowd dancing.Taking inspiration from New Orleans Funk groups like Galactic, Dumpstaphunk and Trombone Shorty’s Orleans Avenue, our original tunes are a mix of rich harmonies, syncopated rhythms, snappy licks and bold horns to move along with.Collective Sleep
Collective Sleep is an Alternative Soul group based in Birmingham, known for their dynamic full-band sound and unforgettable live performances. Their music weaves together groove and soul with melodic vocals, soaring guitars, and rich vocal harmonies, creating a captivating and powerful experience. In July 2024 the band released their debut single ‘Walk With Me’.
The band draws inspiration from an eclectic mix of artists, including Stevie Wonder, Prince, Herbie Hancock, Khruangbin, John Legend, the Isley Brothers, Steely Dan, Jamiroquai, Santana, Pink Floyd, and Donny Hathaway.
Collective Sleep has graced iconic Birmingham venues like the Hare & Hounds, The Night Owl, and The Rainbow, and brought their signature sound to festivals such as Cocomad Festival, Malvern Rocks, Pairc Festival, and Lichfield Fuse Festival. Highlights include performing at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games Festival in 2022 and Tewkesbury Festival in 2024.
Kezia Soul
A soulful singer-songwriter from Birmingham, KeziaSoul blends elements of soul, reggae, R&B, and house with a voice that’s undeniably smooth and seductive. With years of live performance experience at major venues and festivals across the UK, she’s also collaborated with prominent vocal house DJs, including her debut track ‘Got a feeling’ with Dj producer Guy Burns, which landed a placement on Love Island. KeziaSoul is Currently working with producer Danny Kane on new releases for summer, KeziaSoul continues to rise and definitely one to watch this year.
Priscilla Cameron
Honest and unveiled storytelling through music, is at singer/songwriter Priscilla’s core. Often sharing adaptations of personal experiences in an intimate fashion, Priscilla blurs the lines of R&B, creating a sound influenced by an intoxicating blend of soul, reggae, alternative rock and electronic pop. Inspired by legendary artists including Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston, and Aretha Franklin, her unique sound draws from deep roots.Born and raised in West Bromwich, England, Priscilla has never been a stranger to the world of music, singing background vocals in her parent’s reggae band, Unit 4, at the age of 10; and later becoming the lead singer. She has then gone on to a solo career and regularly performs and is currently writing an EP which will be out later this year.
