Snowdrops: recycled materials craft session
February 18th,1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
The snowdrops are beginning to peek their heads above the frozen ground. As the Earth turns and the seasons cycle once again, we’re celebrating the ‘sweet harbingers of spring’ by getting creative and making.
This 2 hour session will use recycled everyday materials to make three different versions of snowdrops for you to make together and take home
These Half Term sessions are for children of about 7 years upwards AND their grown ups.
We will be using sharp scissors, craft knives, hot glue guns and heating up plastic… Children (and adult’s) skill levels and concentration vary widely – please bear this in mind when booking.
Because tickets are limited and the session is two hours long, it is NOT suitable for younger siblings to attend (babes in arms excepted).
We’ll use recycled plastic bottles, paint, wool and taps to make snowdrops that you can take home for your windowsill. Join us in the warm gazebo tent for a relaxing and creative time together.
Tickets £6.50 (+ transaction fee) each
All materials supplied and instructions on the day will be relatively simple for you to work and create together, or individually .
The ticket also includes general Gardens entry , so go wander and spot the numerous types of snowdrops in the Gardens too .
All children must be accompanied by a paying adult
