There are many wonderful aspects to Soul Music. Since the term was first used in the 1960’s it’s been used to describe many subgenres but what they all have in common is that the artist has something meaningful to say. Find our more about the artists and SoulSessionsBrum here

  1. Good afternoon,
I am looking to bring my mom to the outside events who is severely disabled, is there full wheelchair access?
    Thanks
    Siobhan

    • Hi,
Glad your mum wants to come to our outdoor events.
The Gardens are generally accessible, but not always ideally. Paths are ‘hoggin’, which means compacted gravel, but there are many loose stones. The paths can be a little steep in parts (not like a wild area, but pushng a manual wheelchair up can be a little hard – depending on weight of chair)
The garden has many grassed areas and paths. These too are sometimes uneven.
Having said that most people in manual or motorised chairs manage perfectly well in the gardens. outside the walls may be more difficult – this is a much wilder area and quite uneven and lumpy ground.
the Melon Ground Sessions are easilet accessible as they are near the entrance of the Gardens
The Saturday Sounds are further away, with sloping areas – but we can show the flatter access path.
Other music and theatre events tend ot be on the main lawn… flat but uneven.

There is a disabled access toilet. Its quite an old design… but usable. we’re saving up for new toilets:))
      Hope that helps

    • Yes. Pretty well all our evetns are dog friendly – dogs on shortleads in the gardens please – (and take home you doggy poo bags please)

    • Yes no problem, but please dont bring more than one bottle of alcohol per groups – we have plenty of wine and bottled beers on sale on th night. Obviously we hope you might buy our food and snacks during the evening too… its how the charity survives to put such events on and keep the prices low.. :))

    • bringing your own chairs is fine.
the ClaireVoie is a limited space, surrounded by trees and grass pathways but probably room around and in front of the stage to dance :)). We dont know how many people there will be in the audience – there are bigger spaces we can move to.Hope that helps
