Did you know, she spent most of her life in and around Birmingham, including Moseley and Castle Bromwich…

Dive into her world with enthusiast Rachel Smith Chopra, reminisce with the books from the Holden revival in the 1980s and spend the day exploring the Gardens with artists, florists and others. Learn about her life, work, and passion for nature.

This event is a lovely Spring opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of Holden’s creations and be inspired by her legacy.

Rachel will introduce her journey of discovery with an introductory talk.

There will then be opportunities throughout the day to indulge in your passions for flower arranging, drawing, painting and being creative in response to th Gardens… with artists and leaders to support you

All the activities are FREE with your Normal Gardens Admission fees. But please book your place i advance if you can so we can manage chairs, drawing materials etc…
