Occasional informal walks that will explore the general history of these eighteenth-century gardens. Booking advised. Can take walk-up
Join Jack, for a gentle meander around these historic rescued Baroque Gardens. From the Hall to the hornbeam, have the chance to explore their unique history, how we use them today and how they fit into our local and national heritage story.
Ask questions Jack about their botanical and cultural history. The Gardens Charitable Trust loves sharing the Gardens and your interest and visit helps us keep them here for another 350 years….

Normal entry fees to the Gardens apply – PLUS we would be grateful for an extra donation for the walk – give as you feel
- You can book your placehere to ensure your place, but we can also take walk-ups so please ask at the kiosk till if you decide to come on the day. Maximum group size 12.
- Garden entry fees: £6/£5 adults (Free for Pass holders) – please pay on the day.
What to expect
We will meet in the courtyard of Castle Bromwich Historic Gardens before taking a gentle stroll in and around the grounds for about 45 minutes – 1 hour. Please be punctual,
Sturdy footwear is advised, we will be walking on grass and please dress according to the weather conditions. Paths can be uneven and sometimes slippery.
There are places to sit along the way, and we will go at the pace of our slowest participant.
Café, shop (and toilets) are available for your use both before and after the walk
