Start your weekend bathed in the golden light of the Gardens as the sun begins to set.

Summer Fridays we’re staying open late …

From our viewpoint at the top of the hill we see the sun dip low over the city, the golden light floods the Gardens, long shadows creep across the lawn, the birds sing their gathering-in songs. Bees still buzz and hoverflies flit hazily sillhouetted against the light.

Every Friday from 13th June we will remain open until about 8.30pm or so.

Why not start your weekend with some wind-down time in the Gardens.

🍹 Sip something special from the cafe bar, then wander through our ‘garden rooms’, glowing in the evening light.
🎶 There’ll be ambient music in parts of the Gardens; take a pew or lie on a blanket. Listen, watch and feel .

Some Fridays you might find a garden tour, live music, relaxed workshops or other mindful activity……

There’ll always be beautiful Gardens and welcoming people .
