DESCRIPTION:Learn all about the art of Hapa Zome\, have a ago and take home your creation.\n\n\nHapa Zome is a fun and creative way of connecting art and nature.\nOriginally from Japan\, it involves pounding leaves\, flowers and other natural materials onto fabric and paper to create colourful and beautiful patterns.\nWhat to expect- \n\nYou will be introduced to Hapa Zome with a demonstration from our instructor.\nAfter that it’s time for you to experiment\, explore which materials work better and why\,\nCreate your own Hapa Zome print to take home with you.\n\nThis workshop is suitable for children aged 5-13 YO. DESCRIPTION:Medieval Summer\, Shield-painting sessions\nA wonderful opportunity to get creative and design your own heraldry on pre-made shields\, set in the midst of our Medieval Summer at the Gardens. \nJoin our volunteers under the Stretch Tent and explore Medieval Heraldry by painting whatever elements you want to form your very own coat of arms. \nWhat will you choose? \nWill it be a fearsome creature like a Griffin or Wyvern? Or will your coat of arms represent the wealth of Medieval Britain\, with wool\, wheat or even apples? Maybe you’d like to reflect your hobbies like music or reading. \nIt’s your choice! \n \nWhat to expect?\n\nAll materials provided\, including the shield and a hand-made wooden sword\nOn hand assistance from our crafting volunteers\n1.5 hours of creativity\nAccess to the Gardens all day\nFree access to the Medieval Summer trail\nShield apprx. 25 x 33cm\n\nTickets: \n£12.50 per child\, each ticket includes ONE adult.
