After School Outdoor Activities

May 3rd,3:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Event Series Event Series (See All)

Schools Out!

Free, after school, outdoor activity sessions for Primary aged children AND their Grown Ups

Time to let off steam, unwind and ‘process’ all thats happened in the day.. and to have a snack before home, quiet and bed.

Every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during Term Time.

Entry to the Gardens will be free and we will have activities –  some led by our team and some free ranging.

Children must be accompanied by their adult carers, (max 4 children per adult) and we encourage grownups to join in the activities.

There is no need to book, just turn up.

Come any time between 3.30 – 5.30pm

(please note some of the led activities may not be available all of the time, but the site and self led activities will be available)

You don’t have to be part of the activities, but there is a limit on how many people can join in the led activities –  so there will be a booking system each week (see our website for info).

  • On Wednesdays, the activities will be broadly:  ‘Woodland Adventures’ -playing and exploring amongst the trees, each week will be a different woodland adventure : den building, fire lighting, slacklining to name a few… Get moving in Nature!
  • Thursdays its ‘Wild Games’ – high energy nature based games and challenges.
  • Fridays will be lawn games and quieter activities for whoever wishes it.

The cafe will be open and there will be at least one ‘mini meal’ offered at a ‘pay as you can’ rate.

We can offer this to our neighbours thanks to funding from the Leamington based ThinkActive charity who, like us, believe passionately in the power and impact of the outdoors and physical activity to transform lives and keep people living well.

Ideal for Children between 3 and 9 years
