Birmingham Contemporary Music Group : Exploring the Gardens with new intriguing soundscapes
May 18th,3:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Three music-based experiences in the Gardens for balmy summer evenings.
Wander the Gardens in the early evening; to wind down, to breathe or maybe to wake up the senses for the weekend to come. Meandering from place to place you will encounter different sounds and music; familiar and not so familiar, from relaxing to inspiring, from classical to contemporary and everything in between.
There will be seats a plenty for stopping and listening, and even rugs to fall asleep on. Immerse yourself in the ambience, smell the grass. Stop, move on, come round again – the music may have changed.
“Light, Air, Space”
Our first session on Saturday May 18th (from 3pm ) will be blessed by a visit of musicians from Birmingham Contemporary Music Group, playing across the afternoon and around the Gardens (see details below) Feel free to stay on til sunset wandering to explore the sounds and music in other places (recorded).
